The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Special Counsel to join a high-performing Mergers & Acquisitions team. This role is ideal for an experienced lawyer passionate about advising family businesses and SMEs on acquisitions, disposals, restructures, and corporate governance matters. The successful candidate will play a key role in guiding clients through complex transactions while ensuring practical, commercially sound outcomes.
Skills & Experience
To excel in this role, you will have:
- 8-10+ years PQE (Post Qualification Experience), with a strong background in Mergers & Acquisitions
- Proven experience advising family businesses and SMEs on transactional matters
- A commercially astute mindset with the ability to manage complex deal structures
- Excellent client management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication abilities
